Dr Sanjay Prakash Ambagade from the 2004 MBBS batch of the Mahathma Gandhi Mission Hospital, Nagpur, serves in a highly critical position of ‘Emergency Room In-Charge’ at the Healthway Super Specialty Hospital, Goa. His in-depth paper in Bariatric surgery titled ‘ ‘was published in the highly prestigious topical journal of the ‘American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery’ (ASMBS) and his Poster on Endoscopy titled ‘ …….. was well received at the 2008 Scientific Session of the ‘Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) held in Philadelphis, USA and published in the April 2008 issue of their journal ‘Surgical Endoscopy’. Dr Sanjay updates his knowledge by participating regularly in Continuing Education Programs (CME). The ‘Crowning glory moment’ of this medical professional passionately engaged with the study and practice of surgical processes and the ultimate certification of his surgical skills came when he successfully removed the biggest adrenalin tumor in history through laparoscopic surgery, a rare surgical achievement that hit the headlines in the ‘Times of India’ became a topic of discussion and appreciation by the public at large and was proposed as a world record in the given category for the Guinness Book of Records.
