Dr Bharti Sawant completed her MBBS, DA and MD in anaesthesiology from Mumbai University . She worked at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai till 1997 in the Dept of Anesthesiology. She was a full time Anesthesiologist till 2000 at Bai Jerbai Wadia hospital for Children, Mumbai.
From 2000 onwards she worked as a Consultant Anaesthesiologist in various hospitals in Goa including Manipal, Apollo etc.
She has conducted routine and emergency cases in various specialities like Gen surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Worked in superspeciality Operations theatres like Plastic surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiovsacular & Thoracic Surgery Cardiac Catheterisation unit, Pediatric surgery, Urology and Transplant surgeries.
Conducted Anesthesia for various major, supramajor cancer surgeries, Laser surgeries, Radiodiagnostic procedures and Radiotherapy.
Worked in Post Surgical ICU in Tata Memorial Hospital and acquired training in invasive and non invasive haemodynamic and respiratory monitoring, vital organ support system and artificial ventilation.
Also worked in Pain clinic for pain relief in cancer patients.
She is associated with Healthway Hospital, Goa since 2014
