Dr. Vasan S. S. is a highly respected Endourologist and Andrology Specialist associated with Healthway Hospitals, Goa, where he serves as a Visiting Consultant. He is also the Director of Ankur Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., and is widely recognized for pioneering advanced approaches in Andrological Treatments, Men’s Health, Neurourology, and Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Vasan holds an MBBS, DNB in General Surgery, and DNB in Urology, along with advanced fellowships in Urology, Andrology, and Incontinence from prestigious institutions including St. John’s Medical College, Bengaluru, and New Changi Hospital, Singapore. His strong academic foundation is complemented by extensive international exposure.
Since 2008, Dr. Vasan has made significant contributions to the fields of andrology and men’s health, helping shape modern, evidence-based practices in male reproductive care. From 2014 to 2021, he served as Chairman and CEO of Manipal Fertility, further establishing himself as a leader in reproductive and fertility medicine.
His core areas of expertise include male infertility, microsurgical procedures, neurourology, and advanced endourology, with a strong emphasis on comprehensive diagnostics and personalized treatment strategies. Notably, Dr. Vasan established India’s first dedicated Centre for Andrology and Men’s Health, achieving high success rates and setting new benchmarks in patient care.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Vasan is deeply involved in academics and teaching. He heads the Andrology Fellowship Program at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and serves as faculty there. Internationally, he holds the position of Professor Colaborador Honorario at the University of Murcia, Spain, where he teaches the course “Biology and Technology of Reproduction in Mammals.”
