      Qualification

      • Dr. Chandra Bhushan Prasad is among the few dedicated Rheumatologists in the state of Goa, bringing over a decade of clinical experience in the field of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology. Known for his systematic approach and success in managing complex, long-standing, and previously untreated rheumatological conditions, he is widely respected for delivering meaningful outcomes even in challenging cases.

      • He completed his MBBS from Goa Medical College in 2011, followed by MD in General Medicine from the same institution in 2016. Driven by a keen interest in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, Dr. Prasad pursued super-specialty training at the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, one of India’s foremost medical institutes. From 2020 to February 2023, he completed his DM in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology, gaining extensive exposure to a high volume of complex cases.

      • During his tenure at PGIMER, he managed over 150 rheumatology patients annually, including both adult and pediatric cases, and developed strong expertise in advanced laboratory diagnostics such as ANA, ANCA, and antigen–antibody assays using ELISA techniques. His procedural skills include lip, nerve, and muscle biopsies, intra-articular injections involving small and large peripheral joints as well as axial joints (hip, shoulder, sacroiliac), and nerve blocks for conditions such as severe Raynaud’s phenomenon and carpal tunnel syndrome.

      • After completing his super-specialty training, Dr. Prasad returned to Goa and is currently working as Consultant Rheumatologist and Immunologist at Healthway Hospital, where he continues to provide comprehensive, evidence-based, and patient-focused care.

      • Dr Chandra Bhushan Prasad completed his MBBS from Goa Medical College in 2011 . He then went ahed for his MD Medicine again ta GMC which he completed in 2016.  He then Moved to  PGIMER , Chandigarh which is one of India’s top college, for has an exptensive experience at from 2020 – February 2023), where he did is DM in clinical Immunology and Rheumatology. He worked over 150 patients annually and gained extensive clinical knowledge in the field of Rheumatology. He has handled rheumatology case in adults as well as children along with an expertise in lab procedures  such as methods of ANA, ANCA, antigen/antibody by ELISA. In addition he even handled  other cases such as  Lip, nerve and muscle biopsies; Intra articular injections – small and large peripheral and axial joints (hip, shoulder and sacroiliac); and nerve blocks for severe Raynaud’s, carpel tunnel syndrome.
