Qualification

Dr Sanat Bhatkar completed his MBBS from GMC in 2009 following which he pursued his MD Internal Medicine, from Government medical college Surat. In 2013 he enrolled himself for DM Neurology at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. In 2016 he served as the Asst Professor Neurology GMC, Bambolim for 3 years. In 2019 he joined the SMART Neuro Clinic as Consultant Neurophysician. He was also at KEM Hospital Pune for 2 years as Stroke and Neurointervention post-doctoral fellow

  2. Successfully performed extremely complex procedures like CCF coiling, Aneurysm coiling, Carotid and Intracranial Stenting , Stroke Thrombectomies for the first time in the state of Goa.
  3. Was invited as Faculty for conducting the Stroke Quiz in Indian National stroke conference 2017 in Amritsar
  4. Recipient of World federation of neurology travel grant in2016
  5. Initiated the acute stroke IV thrombolysis program in Goa medical college in December 2016

Total Experience. : 19 years in General Surgery, 9 years in Urology Dr Nilesh B.Talwadker is a senior member of the Hepatobiliary Surgery Department at Healthway. A brilliant academician, keen researcher and highly skilled surgeon with in-depth knowledge in the specialties of Urology, Gastroentrology, Oncology, Laparoscopic Surgery, Neuro surgery, General Surgery. Dr Nilesh holds a Diplomate and MS in general surgery to his credit. A firm believer in the dictum that knowledge evolves every day, he keeps himself updated, up skilled and well informed of the latest diagnostic and treatment modalities including a study of real cases by constantly attending and actively participating CMEs like seminars, conferences, workshops etc. The positions held and portfolios administered by him in the healthcare domain reflect the high esteem and respect he commands amongst the medical fraternity.
1. Dr Nilesh Talwadker graduated from Goa Medical College. He completed his Jr Residency In Dermatology, GMC in 1998. He then completed his PG in Gen Surgery in GMC in 2001. Further he joined the departments of Neurosurgery and completed his senior residency in Gen surgery in 2005. He then worked as a lecturer in the Dept Of Gen surgery till 2008. He was then a Consultant at Urology Dept GMC, till 2013. 2. Currently he is associated with Healthway Hospital as consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgery.
