      Qualification

      Dr. Rini is a dedicated Obstetrician and Gynecologist with over six years of experience, including her role as a Senior Resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Goa Medical College. She holds a Master of Surgery in Obstetrics and Gynecology, graduating in July 2017 with second rank from Goa University, and completed her MBBS with commendable merit in January 2014.
       
      A passionate advocate for women’s health, Dr. Rini aims for the best outcomes for her patients through hard work and commitment. Her interests extend beyond clinical practice to include clinical research, workshops, and social welfare initiatives. She has conducted numerous health and free cervical cancer screening camps in rural areas and has delivered educational talks on various gynecological issues to women and adolescents.
       
      During the pandemic, Dr. Rini continued her dedication to women’s health by organizing webinars for several organizations, including AEDI and the Directorate of Women and Child Health Development. She has also focused on crucial topics such as menstrual hygiene and sexual abuse awareness for school girls.
       
      Dr. Rini’s commitment to advancing women’s and child health, combined with her recent completion of a DNB in Obstetrics and Gynecology in June 2019 and a fellowship in NDVH and Gynecologic Endoscopy, showcases her dedication to professional growth and excellence in her field.

      Scored Distinction (with 87% marks) with in 10th Standard at the Goa Board of Secondary Education Examination and stood 5th in People’s High School.

      • Won 3rd prize for presenting a scientific paper on A Surgically treated case of invasive mole at a National conference – FOGSI Gynae Oncology Conference 2016, organised by FOGSI Oncology Committee, RCOG West Zone and Panaji OBGYN Society held on 29th – 31st July 2016.
      • Presented 2 posters at Panaji Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society Annual Conference 2018 on 1) A case report of Adenosarcoma 2) A case report of Invasive Mole.
      • Participated as a speaker on Awareness of Ovarian cancer among women in Goa in the 3rd World Cancer Congress – 2019 held in Mumbai on November 20 – 21 /2019.
      • Won 1st prize in the Skime event (Theatre arts) at WAVES, cultural festival of BITS- Pilani, Goa Campus in 2009.

      Dr Durga Lawande did her MD , Pulmonology from , Goa Medical College in 1982. She Joined as a Consultant Pulmonologist, Department of Pulmonary Medicine, Goa Medical College in 1985. She has been a PG guide for several students in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine since 1990. In 2016 she was appointed as Professor & Head of Department of Pulmonary Medicine, Goa Medical College. She has been associated with Healthway Hospital as a Visiting Consultant since 2021.

      • Involved in teaching and training of Under graduates and postgraduates of Goa Medical College for more than 30 years.
      • Won the Prestigious Fundacao Oriente Scholarship to visit Lisbon for 3 months and study allergy and immunology at Pullide Valente hospital, Lisbon ,Portugal
      • Got WHO Fellowship in 1996 under which she visited University of Illinois Chicago and East Tennessee State University for 3 months in Tuberculosis Control.

A brilliant academician, keen researcher and highly skilled surgeon with in-depth knowledge in the specialties of Urology, Gastroentrology, Oncology, Laparoscopic Surgery, Neuro surgery, General Surgery. Dr Nilesh holds a Diplomate and MS in general surgery to his credit. A firm believer in the dictum that knowledge evolves every day, he keeps himself updated, up skilled and well informed of the latest diagnostic and treatment modalities including a study of real cases by constantly attending and actively participating CMEs like seminars, conferences, workshops etc. The positions held and portfolios administered by him in the healthcare domain reflect the high esteem and respect he commands amongst the medical fraternity.
      1. Dr Nilesh Talwadker graduated from Goa Medical College. He completed his Jr Residency In Dermatology, GMC in 1998. He then completed his PG in Gen Surgery in GMC in 2001. Further he joined the departments of Neurosurgery and completed his senior residency in Gen surgery in 2005. He then worked as a lecturer in the Dept Of Gen surgery till 2008. He was then a Consultant at Urology Dept GMC, till 2013. 2. Currently he is associated with Healthway Hospital as consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgery.
