      Qualification

      Dr. Preetam Kalangutkar is a dedicated medical professional with a robust background in medicine and a specialization in diabetes care. She completed her MBBS at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Belgaum in 1996. Following her graduation, Dr. Kalangutkar gained extensive clinical experience in various medical fields while working as a medical officer in Mumbai and Goa.
      In 2003, she successfully cleared PLAB I & II and relocated to the UK, where she further honed her skills by working under esteemed specialists. Committed to expanding her expertise, she earned her Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes Management (PGDDM) from Cardiff University in 2016 and her Postgraduate Diploma in Endocrinology from the University of South Wales in 2017.
      Dr. Kalangutkar currently runs her own private practice and serves as a consultant diabetologist at Healthway Hospital, where she is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to her patients.
      1. Conducts regular teaching programmes in Diabetology for Medical Officers and Nursing Staff at Healthway Hospital Goa.
      2. Diabetes awareness programmes along with diabetes screening and consultation camps conducted on a regular basis in Goa.
      3. Conducted Goa State level CME on Diabetic foot in Feb 2019.
      4. Conducted Goa State level Diabetic foot camp at Healthway Hospital in Feb 2019.
      5. Conducted CME on Oral sulphonylureas for Doctors in Ponda – Goa in 2020
      6. Conducted CME on Diabetes and altered immune functions for Doctors and Dietitians on 28/08/2021

      Total Experience. : 19 years in General Surgery, 9 years in Urology Dr Nilesh B.Talwadker is a senior member of the Hepatobiliary Surgery Department at Healthway. A brilliant academician, keen researcher and highly skilled surgeon with in-depth knowledge in the specialties of Urology, Gastroentrology, Oncology, Laparoscopic Surgery, Neuro surgery, General Surgery. Dr Nilesh holds a Diplomate and MS in general surgery to his credit. A firm believer in the dictum that knowledge evolves every day, he keeps himself updated, up skilled and well informed of the latest diagnostic and treatment modalities including a study of real cases by constantly attending and actively participating CMEs like seminars, conferences, workshops etc. The positions held and portfolios administered by him in the healthcare domain reflect the high esteem and respect he commands amongst the medical fraternity.
      1. Dr Nilesh Talwadker graduated from Goa Medical College. He completed his Jr Residency In Dermatology, GMC in 1998. He then completed his PG in Gen Surgery in GMC in 2001. Further he joined the departments of Neurosurgery and completed his senior residency in Gen surgery in 2005. He then worked as a lecturer in the Dept Of Gen surgery till 2008. He was then a Consultant at Urology Dept GMC, till 2013. 2. Currently he is associated with Healthway Hospital as consultant General & Laparoscopic Surgery.
