Acne is a very common issue agonizing people of all ages, mostly teens. At Healthway we provide specialized treatment to help the patients get rid of acne related problems.

Paronychia is an infection of the tissue adjacent to a nail, most often a fingernail. It is caused by injury or irritation, such as a hangnail, cuticle damage or continual wet hands.

Skin pigmentation, also called as hyperpigmentation is a condition in which there is excessive production of melanin. Melanin is responsible for determining your skin tone. An excessive production of it causes dark patches on your skin. Depending on the severity and extent of the pigmentation problem, our dermatologists can tailor a patient’s treatment based on his or her individual skin tone, and the treatment may include single therapy or a combination of one to two therapies.

Vitiligo is a condition in which the skin loses its pigment cells (melanocytes). This can result in discolored patches in different areas of the body, including the skin, hair, retina and mucous membranes. Treatment is highly patient dependent and usually aims at restoring color to white patches of skin.

A wart is a skin growth caused by a certain type of virus called the human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV infects the top layer of skin, usually entering the body in an area of broken skin. The virus causes the top layer of skin to grow rapidly, forming a wart. Treatment can make use of salicylic acid or aerosol to freeze and destory the warts.

  • Dr Anupama Kudchadkar is a well known name in Dermatology in the state of Goa. She studied MBBS from GMC followed by her MD , DNB in Skin and Venereal diseases at Goa Medical College In 1997. She has since then been associated with the top hospitals in Goa such as Manipal and also started her private practice.
